Orlando’s First Spirit-Free Speakeasy Announces
Closure after 2 Years in Ivanhoe Village.

The BANDBOX hosted its final weekend as a brick & mortar shop on September 14th before transitioning to a fully mobile catering service.
Orlando, FL – August 30, 2024 – The BANDBOX announced their formal closure of their storefront location at 1817 N Orange Ave, Orlando, FL 32804. Just over 2.5 years in business, the spirit-free speakeasy gained notoriety for starting a buzz in Central Florida pioneering the non-alcoholic bar scene.
The announcement comes with the transition of the business into a new chapter. As the BANDBOX closes its doors on their physical location, patrons and enthusiasts alike can enjoy a mobile version of the eclectic and historical moment in time the bar captured.
“It’s been an amazing run and we couldn’t be more thankful to the Orlando community for supporting us since we opened. So many businesses are feeling it right now with the rising costs to keep the doors open that it just makes sense to take our concept into a mobile capacity. Especially since the NA industry continues to grow year after year. This was a large part of our decision to shift gears while reaching more people in locations we could have not done before and keeping the spirit of the BANDBOX alive,” said owner Kevin Zepf.
The BANDBOX opened in Orlando’s Ivanhoe Village in late June 2022. From opening night, the BANDBOX saw immediate popularity with a line down Orange Avenue as patrons eagerly waited to experience the non-alcoholic bar’s offerings and thematic decor.
“While we’re sad to close this chapter, we are excited for what the future holds. We can’t wait to share with Orlando and surrounding communities The BANDBOX 2.0 - a mobile, zero-proof bar & photo booth experience. Oh, and maybe some appearances by Byron,” said Zepf.
